Tried ammonia-most satisfying-1 part ammonia to 5 parts water, after a rain, it wipes out huge numbers of them before your very eyes, and is not harmful to the plants. Apparently applications of woodash changes the ph of the soil to eventually repel them http://www.hillgardens.com/slugs.htm seems to be very informative!Ericahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14894005560103565489noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3006817958555301605.post-59382615439844416772011-07-11T09:07:34.574-07:002011-07-11T09:07:34.574-07:00Oh my, your slugs are big! You could try garden cloches if you have small to medium size plants. Good luck.

Jeff
jeff@thegardencloche.com
www.TheGardenCloche.comTheGardenClochehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11126381954855878396noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3006817958555301605.post-72303583168531675992010-10-12T07:50:33.985-07:002010-10-12T07:50:33.985-07:00Hi Amy and keep up the great work on slugs.
