I'm moving this blog to www.MySuburbanHomestead.com

Sadly, this will be my last post on blogger. I'm running into errors that cannot be fixed. The content here will eventually be moved.

So, come and check out my new headquarters at: www.MySuburbanHomestead.com

My first post is a picture tutorial on making a simple ketchup.

He really want something that will appeal to my toddler and replace the bottled store-bought version. And all store bought ketchup is just tomato puree -sweetened, acidified with vinegar and seasoned with salt.

Well, storebought ketchup usually has high fructose corn syrup. Yuck.

I had a load of tomatoes left over last year and attempted to make my own ketchup, unfortunately it turn out to be more like the sauce used for pizza's which was a shame as i do not eat pizza.
