I'm a stay-at-home mom learning about all manners of the self-sufficient lifestyle: vegetable and fruit gardening, pest control (especially slugs) keeping livestock (chickens, goats, ducks, rabbits), parenting, inexpensive and responsible living.
this research is very biased as it is done by the U.S. army and by a researcher who is funded by bayer, the very company that most research on CCD currently points the finger at. unfortunately the CCD issue is not a simple one and it is the culmination of all the years of poor beekeeping practices and the heavy use of pesticides especially the newer systemic pesticides. papers like this one is just going to further the problem making beeks think they need to start treating there hives with fungicides.
