I live fairly close to Bob's Redmill, so I stopped in the other day to pick up some products I haven't tried. I cooked up these cranberry beans or as they are known in Italy "borlotti" beans.
They had pretty intense flavor, similar to a kidney bean, but they are creamier in texture and thinner skins around the bean. They do leave a little bit of a funny after taste. I can't say that I like or dislike these beans. I would prefer them to kidney beans but I still prefer black beans for flavor.
