Scarlet Runner Beans

These Scarlet Runner Beans are a must for my garden every year. The bees and hummingbirds love them.

They are a pole bean, but the pods aren't terribly good. But, shelled and/or dried, the copious beans (as you can see in the photo) are crazy good!

Really, never tried them? They have pinker varieties you know.
